Workplace options unveils increased risk HRA
Workplace Options, a Raleigh, N.C.-based provider of work-life employee benefits, is unveiling a health risk assessment (HRA) to help employers identify behaviors that contribute to an increased risk for disease, illness or accidents. Integrating with the company’s Advantage Web, Advantage HRA provides “before and after” data on wellness initiatives, company officials say, often targeting particular health challenges within the workforce. The interactive, online tool can be completed within minutes and can provide an overall health score in such categories as heart health, nutrition, weight management, fitness, cancer, smoking, stress and safety.
Streamline health forms partnership with HERAE
Streamline Health of Cincinnati, a provider of enterprise document workflow solutions, has formed a partnership with HERAE, LLC, a San Diego-based provider of electronic payment processing providing Direct Deposit for Healthcare. The partnership will combine Streamline’s solutions with HERAE’s medical-banking remittance processing solutions. “Through this relationship, we are enabling healthcare enterprises to better manage their revenue cycle by providing the means to achieve a fully electronic solution for remittance and payments,” said Jim Ribelin, HERAE’s founder and executive vice president.
SHPS signs new agreement with Epoch group
Louisville, Ky.-based SHPS has announced an extended agreement with The EPOCH Group, one of the nation’s largest third party administrators (TPAs) for self-funded healthcare plans. SHPS has designed an exclusive integrated care management solution for TPAs that links utilization management, case management, disease management and wellness programs. “SHPS’ integrated care management solution marries our quality clinical services with EPOCH’s expertise in plan design and administration,” said Jeff Rosenblum, SHPS’ executive vice president of channel solutions.
MEDecision to provide PCS to Memphis Managed Care
MEDecision, Inc. of Wayne, Pa. has launched a six-month pilot program to provide a Patient Clinical Summary (PCS) to the Memphis Managed Care Corporation, a participant in Tennessee’s TennCare Medicaid program. MMCC will deliver the PCS to West Tennessee provider groups and independent practice associations participating in a state-supported pay-for-performance program.
